eReferrals

Specialty Clinic Referral (SC Referral)

There are currently a number of WSIB specialty programs available to injured workers to assist in specific recovery difficulties. When the WSIB determines that an injured worker fits the criteria for a referral to a Specialty Clinic (SC), an SC referral is completed and sent to the appropriate clinic. This application enables the Specialty Clinic to electronically acknowledge the referral, manage the appointments, submit assessments, and create interim and discharge reports.

Physician Referral

This application facilitates management of the physician case file review process, including online work allocation and assignment, online submission of physician reports and tracking of work activities.

Eligible Physicians for access to this service include:

  • External Physicians – those contracted as consultants by WSIB (access through the TELUS Provider Portal)
  • Internal Physicians – employed as Staff Physicians by WSIB (access through PBAS)
